A couple of years ago, I created a new Instagram account with the grand idea of posting about food made at home, yet another avenue to curate, document and journal.
Spurred on by cooking and eating more at home during COVID (remember when everyone was trying their hand at baking bread?), I wanted to collate what I ate, what my mum or sister or I cooked for big family meals or solitary snacks to curb that late-afternoon slump. Lo and behold, after I created the account, I didn’t post anything for years, that is until this weekend past where I thought, hey, why not?
So, welcome to @yoyuri_home, an account dedicated to documenting homemade food. Don’t expect anything in real-time, like most things I post or write about, it’s all about keeping record of moments.
Sporadic and infrequent as it is, I’ll still be posting on my usual account @yoshikakon.
